Author Information

Jeff Gillman is an associate professor in the department of horticultural science at the University of Minnesota, where he researches plant production and teaches courses on nursery management and pesticide use. He earned his doctorate in horticulture and a master's degree in entomology from the University of Georgia. Eric S. Heberlig is a tenured associate professor of political science at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. He is co-author of Classics inCongressional Politics and American Labor Unions in the Electoral Arena, and of journal articles on legislative, interest group, and electoral politics.
