OverviewThis story carries so many themes within it. It is set one hundred years or so ahead of the Protestant Reformation, which began with Martin Luther and John Calvin. The story demonstrates acceptance of people, who might look different because Jesus loves everyone. It demonstrates how vitally important introducing children to Jesus is even from their birth. It clearly depicts how our actions are studied by the people around us and can either lead them to accepting Jesus or have them mocking Him with scorn. This is a beautiful story about two children who get lost in the forest on a night when the temperatures are plunging and the snow is piling high. They are rescued by folks who live in the deep woods where few people go. The children are nourished and cared for physically, and in return, their spirits are enlightened by learning about Jesus. It's a win-win story that is heartwarming. All children will enjoy this book. I hope you love reading this adventure as much as I have loved writing it. To God be the glory!
