How Sweet Must We Dream: To Forget Such Troubling Nightmares

Overview

What allows us to grow from our past? Desmond Thompson seeks answers in his debut collection of poetry, To Forget Such Troubling Nightmares. Thompson uses life events, nature, and creative storytelling to examine a deeper understanding of the developing character. Each chapter captures a specific theme with full-bodied openness and vulnerability. This book addresses a broad range of topics. Some potentially triggering topics discuss mental illness, self-harm, and surviving SA (which are addressed in the opening chapter ""Skewed Brain"").
