Author InformationDr. Philip Akinyemi is a father of five, grandfather of six, and member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). He was born and raised in Nigeria and came to the USA in 1983 to further his education at the University of Detroit, Michigan, where he obtained a doctorate in mechanical engineering. He has worked for Ford Motor Company as a technical expert and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit and Lawrence Technological University, Michigan. He holds a master's degree in biblical theology from Michigan Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister who has served as an assistant pastor and a radio Bible teacher.
