Melissa holds a teaching degree and is certified in several states, but has found the greatest joy and blessings in homeschooling her three children. During the summers off of teaching, she used to have a professional wedding photography business, but now uses her creative eye to create layouts and illustrations for her and her children's books. Melissa loves all things snow, coziness, and reading. The snow doesn't show up as often as she'd like in eastern Tennessee.
