Overview

The ""Charlie"" book series is unique, in that each story has a small ""life lesson"". From disability to cultural awareness, these stories are aimed at starting those difficult conversations with your child. The books aim to take the reader on a journey where the life lesson is incorporated. Whether it be overcoming adversity to dealing with anger issues, the hope is to allow open and honest communication, while enjoying the journey. They are fun to read for children from five (5) to twelve (12). Charlie loved his sport, being softball. He was the best player until he lost his leg in an accident. Charlie finds a way to compensate for his ability to run, by building up his strength to bat harder. His father learns not to underestimate Charlie, learning from his son that where there is a will, there is always a way. I hope you enjoy them as I did writing them.
