OverviewThis really useful reference book is for students and triallists and is the ideal guide for peer reviewers who are not trained in sample size calculation. It is for people organising a research project who want to know how many people they will likely need. It also contains an introduction to statistical ideas for people who have not studied the subject. It uses the method of programmed instruction making it suitable for people without a teacher to learn by themselves. The author is an MSc in Medical Statistics from Leicester University and a PhD in Statistics from Warwick. A Chartered Statistician, he has taught and given statistical support to health professionals and other academics over two decades and served on a number of review committees for research applications. Some of the methods in this book were presented by the author as a guest speaker during the Upper Egypt Assisted Reproduction Symposium in 2024 for specialist physicians and surgeons Full Product DetailsAuthor: Andrea Manfrin , Miland JoshiPublisher: Independently Published Imprint: Independently Published Dimensions: Width: 14.00cm , Height: 0.50cm , Length: 21.60cm Weight: 0.127kg ISBN: 9798323386680Pages: 102 Publication Date: 19 April 2024 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order ![]() We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
