When she's not writing, designing pretty things or creating communities, Emma can be found with her husband, daughter and son, kayaking, visiting museums or reading picture books with their story-loving parrot, Ash. Fun facts: 1 - Emma is famous for her love of yellow. 2 - She lives in beautiful Chicago, but is actually from New Zealand. 3 - Emma's a Trekkie and has seen all the Star Trek ever made. 4 - She owns two telescopes and is a regular star (and planet) gazer.
