Overview

Are you as tall as a T. rex? Or as big as a Brontosaurus? Or maybe you're as mini as a Micropachycephalosaurus! Young readers can discover just how huge or small the dinosaurs really were in this full-colour hardback book, bursting with life-sized, to-scale examples and eye-opening comparisons. Written by paleontologist and award-winning author Dougal Dixon, How Big? Dinosaurs allows children to interact with life-sized artworks of prehistoric beasts (and their claws, plates, and teeth) to get a sense of how big they really were. They'll see real-world comparisons to help them understand the size of different dinosaurs. Readers can: • Get up-close to a Triceratops horn, • Measure their hand to Iguanodon's • Compare a Psittacosaurus's beak to a parrot's • Check out Smilodon's terrifying teeth. Packed with fun facts and vibrant illustrations by Patrick Corrigan, this book is a real treat for dinosaur fans aged 6+.
