Micah Player designed characters and graphics for the apparel industry in Southern California before writing and illustrating his first picture books. He lives in a little house beneath a giant tree in the mountains of Utah with a lovely schoolteacher named Stephanie. They are the parents of two rad kids, one brash little Yorkshire Terrier, and several Casio keyboards. When she was a kid, Sharon's first success with art was a four-panel comic about a cat who wrote books. A few laughs from friends and family later, she was hooked! Since then her work has been inspired by cartoons, animated movies, and picture books. She believes in diversity in children's books and strives to create illustrations and stories that will promote confidence. Born in Zagreb in 1988, Tanja Stevanovic graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Serbia, with a focus on illustration and printmaking. Much of her award-winning work is inspired by children and the stories she loved as a child. Tanja lives and works in Belgrade and has a lovely, fluffy cat. Joanie Stone was born and raised in Virginia, where she still lives today with her husband and silly seven-year-old daughter. She has lived in three different hemispheres and strives to reflect her world experiences in her artwork. When Erin's feet are on the ground she loves time with her family, getting lost in the wild, and visiting the zoo. Drawing is a daily necessity, just like eating, which she also enjoys quite a bit! Rayanne Vieria is an illustrator based in Brazil. A lifelong fan of animated films, she studied for a career in animation but fell in love with illustration instead. She is especially passionate about giving each character a distinct personality and look. When not drawing, she's usually watching animations or reading comic books.
