"Hop on the Health Sciences Workforce Highway and explore exciting careers within Health Sciences! Virginia Cooperative Extension, Virginia 4-H, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University are part of the national land grant mission focused on research-based education. This book was created to spark early interest in Health Science careers for students and be a part of larger programming allowing youth to explore the life sciences as part of the Health Science Highway conducted through the Claude Moore Scholars program. This book was inspired by Dr. Martin's career in obstetrics and gynecology and all the amazing people she has worked with along the way. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia (VCU Health). Dr. Martin is from the Northern Neck of Virginia and now resides in Roanoke, Virginia with her husband and 3 children.Este libro fue inspirado por la carrera de la Dra. Martin en obstetrician y ginecolog�a y por todas las personas incre�bles con las que ha trabajado durante el camino de su vida profesional. Recibi� su licenciatura en Biolog�a de la Universidad de Virginia (UVA) y recibi� su t�tulo de Doctora en Medicina del Colegio M�dico de Virginia (VCU Health).
