I have created this journal because I am a lifelong horse enthusiast and love a good laugh. For those of you who enjoy reading a good book and writing down your thoughts and plans, this journal is the perfect fit for you. It is said that laughter is good for the soul, so I encourage you to open up this journal and let the smiles begin. If you wish to glimpse inside a human soul and get to know the person, don't bother analyzing their ways of being silent, of talking, of weeping, or seeing how much they are moved by noble ideas; you'll get better results if you just watch them laugh. Even as a child growing up in the Cariboo of Beautiful British Columbia, Canada, Jo loved horses, cowboys and all things country. She was an avid rider who felt comfortable in the ranching lifestyle. Looking back, she could have been a rancher's wife pursuing the western way of life that she loved. Life has a way of surprising us, so when Jo was called to the Mission Field in Bolivia some thirty-three years ago, everything changed. Jo's journey has been incredibly rewarding as she grew to love Bolivia and the people there. She adopted children who now have their own children, (Jo's grandchildren) all while living a life of service to God. Jo has never lost her love and passion for horses and because of that she has created her popular Facebook page and website called 'What a Beautiful Horse', to share her love of horses with others. Jo and 'What a Beautiful Horse' have touched the lives and heart strings of thousands with stunning horse pictures depicting every breed and color. The inspirational quotes and sayings, some of them showing Jo's wonderful sense of humor, relate to our everyday lives and put smiles on our faces. You are invited to come along for the ride.
