For the last two and a half years I thought my horse care information was in order. After almost forgetting to renew a Coggin's test, I knew I needed to re-evaluate my equine record system. When I was just a teenager, horse care information included a vet, blacksmith, and riding instructor. Thirty years later I now maintain appointment details for vets, dentists, farriers, equine massage therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors. Plus I shop online and can't remember which site had what or what the vet said the last time she visited! The cell phone helped with phone numbers, but dates and details were kept by memory or checkbook entries. My neatly organized files at the house didn't help me when I was at the barn. I needed a central location for my horse's information. I wrote the Horse Handy Helper to take the stress out of horse care. The book fits in your glove box so it is always accessible.
