This series gets better with each book! Baxter is definitely growing up and growing more powerful. He has figured out a new way to read. It seems to help him. I don't understand Eidel's attitude towards him. I do hope that she and Derek are ok. I loved this book! - Phthon I like the characters a lot, especially Derek, and it was fascinating to read a story where one of the main trio doesn't believe in the quest, the leader, or see any point to his abilities.
