Donna Kay Lau is an Emmy-honored TV animator, author, and illustrator, as well as an art teacher on Surf Soup TV. She is the creator of the Surf Soup book series and the upcoming Surf Soup TV cartoon, with over 74+ books and counting. Lau has worked on beloved animated productions, including Dora the Explorer, Oswald the Octopus, CatDog, Generator Rex, Ben 10, and Regular Show. She was honored by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for her contributions to Emmy-winning animated shorts.Lau's work celebrates creativity, diversity, and cultural identity, drawing from her experiences as a Chinese American artist.
