I didn't get the chance to be a kid. The day after high school graduation, I was raising five younger siblings. Later, after tragedy tore through my family, I took in my nephews too. On the outside I looked strong - but inside, I was exhausted, broken, and asking God why life always seemed harder for me. Hope in the Darkness: Finding God's Light is my story of surviving abandonment, loss, and burnout that left me at rock bottom. It's about the nights I cried out to God when I felt invisible, and moments his presence carried me when I couldn't take another step. This isn't a polished ""happily ever after"".
