Pfc. Stephen W. Jaworski served in the 5th Infantry Division in 1944 and was killed in action in Noveant, France in September of that year. The author traced and detailed his military service in France in her book, Just Another Good Soldier. Her second book, Honoring Stephen Jaworski, is an account of the honors bestowed upon Stephen as experienced by the author, her family, and friends. Some of the most extraordinary moments occurred in Noveant, France where Thanks GIs Association surprised time after time with their gratitude and dedication to one of the soldiers who fought and died for their freedom.
