Overview

Our day-to-day life is subject to forces measured in thousands, even millions, of years. As the continents drift on a sea of magma, the life it carries adapts to find its niche and species cohabit a slice of time, in harmony. Why then is it that the encounter between Homo Neanderthalensis and Homo Sapiens left one group extinct? This is a fictional account of when these two hominin species crossed paths with nature's prevalent forces setting the scene. Is there room for a second hominin specie in our midst now if we genetically engineered such an outcome? Widespread racial, ethnic and class intolerance unequivocally says, no. Fast forward to a time when our internecine squabbles, complete subjugation of the natural world, and inherent greed reach unimaginable proportions, what then? Will our success be our downfall or can we learn from those we overwhelmed? Is it too late for a lesson which challenges the status quo?
