Author Information

Cloyd Steiger is the Chief Criminal Investigator for the Washington State Attorney General Homicide Investigation Tracking System. He is also Consulting Committee member of the American Investigative Society of Cold cases, which assists agencies nationally investigate cold murder cases. He retired in 2016 after 36 years with the Seattle Police Department, 26 years as a detective and 22 years in Homicide. He has three sons, (two of which are Seattle Police Officers) and 6 grandchildren. He lives with his wife in the Seattle area.
