Author Information

Chon A. Noriega, a professor in the Department of Film, Television, and Digital Media at the University of California, Los Angeles, has been the director of the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center since 2002 and editor for the CSRC Press since 1996. He is the author of Shot in America: Television, the State, and the Rise of Chicano Cinema.Mari Carmen Ramírez is the Wortham Curator of Latin American Art at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the director of the museum’s International Center for the Arts of the Americas. Pilar Tompkins Rivas is the director of Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College.
