Overview

Following the sudden, tragic death of her mother, fourteen-year-old Mira is forced to move across the country and live with her distant Aunt Vivian. Her Aunt, though warm and loving, is devoutly religious and a strict disciplinarian. She decides to home school Mira against her wishes, determined to keep tight control of every aspect of Mira's life.
