"I have been in House fellowship system since 1986. In those 35 years, I was an active member, Cell Leader, and Cell Trainer. I've been privileged to set up Church wide Cell System as a Senior Pastor of small, medium and Mega Churches. in about three decades. By the Grace of God, Christian Leadership Skills Inc, under my watch, has trained hundreds of CELL LEADERS across denominations inside and outside Nigeria, since 1994. The following six practical experiences with Cell system are the basis for my new book, HOME CELL REVOLUTION CELL SYSTEM CREATES MORE UNENDING PULPITS There can only be ONE pulpit in every church. It has only One ordained Priest, the Senior Pastor. It is a privilege when he allows anyone else to share the altar with him. That situation can bring discontent, disenchantment, and disillusion. Budding talents and anointed vessels are sitting idly every Sunday, just listening, clapping, and donating offerings. Consider my case. I have been teaching Bible studies since campus days in 1982/83. I preached my first open air crusade in Niger State during my NYSC in 1984. I have been ministering to large fellowships Leadership camps and big Churches since then, till I was led of God to join FOURSQUARE GOSPEL CHURCH, SOMOLU, in 1985, a year after my NYSC. I had to go through membership classes, and Sunday school. I never got to preach on the Pulpit until 8- 10 years later. That was even considered quite early, by our denominational standard, back then. Do you know why I was not frustrated or feeling unused or preaching rusty during that decade of mandatory waiting? You know the reason why I did not yield to the pressure from my friends to cross over to greener fields of their Chapel, away from this Church ""wasting my talents and anointing'? This was the reason: Our Church had a vibrant House fellowship system that created unending, unlimited pulpits! Within a year of my joining the church, I preached my first series on Spiritual gifts in our CELL group in 1986. That series lasted 5 weeks, prompted by our Cell Leader, and special request from members of our House fellowship. HOUSE FELLOWSHIP/CELL HELPS TO DISCOVER AND DEVELOP GIFTS As you can see from my CELL teaching experience, my immediate leaders spotted me and told others. I started ministering to Youths. Teens within and outside our Church. Our well developed Cell System, under my Pastor, Rev E. Olu Osibanjo, of blessed memory, kept me planted and ""sold and well circulated "" within FOURSQUARE family and as an international brand, since 1985 till date by the Grace of God. HOME CELL MINISTRY RELEASES MORE LEADERS AND CONTINUOUS LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT One of our outstanding CELL Leaders at that time was the Church Bus Driver. Pure illiterate, uneducated, and untrained, but the people took notice of him that he had been with Jesus. The only form of training he had was Cell Leaders Training., provided by our Senior Pastor. That was enough to help him grow and split the House fellowship that he led, ten times in six months. His cell gave birth to ten more cells in six months. The leadership of the church simply planted a Church with the ten CELLS. Our Church driver became a Senior Pastor. Today this Cell Leader, turned Senior Pastor is a General Overseer of a vibrant Independent Church with branches spread across South West of Nigeria and beyond."
