Author Information

Anthony DiMatteo's memoir Home Boys draws on 10 years of living in a group home as a supervisor of ten boys. His published works include poetry collections, essays, reviews and a translation. Though his essays and reviews have appeared in dozens of scholarly and literary journals, he considers Home Boys the most important work of his life. A professor of English, he has defended the mysteries of writing, literature and art at the New York Institute of Technology for nearly 40 years. He lives on the Outer Banks of North Carolina with his wife Kathleen O'Sullivan, an artist and musician.
