Author Information

Chris Caulfield is a news journalist and freelance writer with more than 15 years of experience. Born in Manhattan, he grew up in New Haven in the 1980s and basked in the glory of the Miracle on Ice and the New York Islanders dynasty. After suffering a major injury when he was seven years old, his dad - thinking it would help lift his son's spirits - began taking him to the Ingalls Rink to watch Yale play. The pair would go to every game for the next four years before the family moved to London, England, but a lifelong love of hockey was born.
