Overview

Viking is a ghost of the Vietnam War, a man who survived the Delta only to lose his soul to the American rails. He lives by a simple code: respect the train, and protect your own. When he learns that Lil Bit-a girl he treated like a daughter-was murdered and tossed from a moving hotshot, the code demands blood. From the ""Peehole"" yards of Colorado to the frozen High Line of Montana, Viking is on a collision course with Spider, a sociopathic gang leader who rules the tracks with a serrated blade. Viking wants to be a lone executioner, but the rails have other plans. Joined by an aging Buffalo Soldier named Bones and a cynical drifter named Sam, Viking must decide if his ""Hobo Justice"" is a path to redemption-or just a one-way ticket to a shallow grave in the ballast.
