Michael Kushner is a lifelong resident of Southern California and one of the foremost authorities on homeowner-side HOA law in California. For almost 30 years, he has represented homeowners (not HOA boards) in some of the most hard-fought HOA disputes in the state. Widely regarded as the homeowner-side pioneer in this field, he built the pre-litigation systems and strategies that the two largest homeowner-side law firms in California still use today.Michael earned his undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley and his law degree at UCLA. Over the course of his nearly 30-year career, his firm has counseled thousands of clients throughout the State of California regarding all manner of HOA-related disputes and litigation.
