Overview

This text examines the problem of HIV and AIDS infection and argues for a clear set of policies and guidelines to deal with a pandemic which, in many developing and developed countries, primarily affects the 20-40 age group, the heart of the working population. Differences in approach are analysed and, after presenting the legislative and regulatory framework, the book also describes both positive and negative enterprise practices. An impact analysis follows with recommendations for practical measures and criteria for the development of a tripartite strategy.
