Overview

First settled in the early 1800s, Seven Springs is one of the oldest communities in west Pasco County, Florida. It is roughly bounded by the Anclote River to the west, Odessa to the east, and extending from the Pasco/Pinellas County line to just north of the Anclote River. The area encompassed prime agricultural and ranch land, as well as forests and wetlands - perfect for growing citrus and raising cattle. Having never been incorporated into a town, Seven Springs today is gradually being enveloped by the sprawling growth of communities like New Port Richey, Trinity and Odessa. But it remains visible in numerous names used by roads, subdivisions, schools and businesses.
