Since its limited release in 2021, the BROKENATION series has probably had a greater impact on the Nigerian state and people than any other book before it. The Nigerian Army has updated its motto and insignia, and the Nigerian State is figuring out ways to rid itself of the multibillion dollar corruption in its downstream petroleum sector. These hardly address the fundamental and structural faults bedevilling the Nigerian State, but they are significant steps in the right direction triggered by the BROKENATION series. BABA OLU
