PAUL BLACKLEDGE is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Cultural Studies at Leeds Metropolitan University. He is a member of the editorial board of Historical Materialism. GRAEME KIRKPATRICK teaches at the Department of Sociology at the University of Northumbria. He was a founding editor of the journal Imprints and has published on social theory and the social impact of technology.
