Joseph Kasule is currently a fellow at MISR, Makerere University, doing interdisciplinary research on Uganda. His new book Islam in Uganda: The Muslim Minority, Nationalism & Political Power, discusses the complex dynamics of Muslims’ subsistence under non-Muslim power.
