Author Information

Charlie Swerdlow is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he majored in illustration with an art history minor. He's been working as a freelance illustrator in advertising and publishing for three years. Just recently, however, he's begun specializing in scenes, sites, and peoples lost to the past. This approach works well with anything historically themed - from magazine articles, to historic-era book covers, to reconstructions for museums and textbooks. While there are countless fascinating cultures and places he's yet to depict, this sampling should show he can handle any place, any time, any topic - don't hold back!
