Paula saw her life as fairly ordinary - if there is such a thing. Not always plain sailing, losing her mum at an early age and later the unhappy end of her first marriage. But she picked herself up, got on with it - and then met John. At first, Paula noticed odd little things about him. But he would be fine again and she'd shrug off the doubts.
