OverviewLocated at the eastern edge of the Texas Hill Country, the private wine cave explored in this architectural monograph is hidden along a secluded river bend but actually just a short stroll from the amenities available at the nearby ranch. The project was designed to take advantage of an existing excavated cave in the north face of a solid limestone hillside. Protected on the east and west by tall oak and elm trees, the shot-crete lined tube can barely be seen within the native landscape. The unassuming exterior entry court offers a little mystery, revealing only a hint of what lies within. Heavy limestone boulders, collected from the excavation, and lush vegetation further camouflage the entry to the mouth of the cave. Hill Country Wine Cave delivers a privileged insight into how the architectural firm Clayton Korte conceived, planned and executed this discreet architectural masterpiece Full Product DetailsAuthor: Tom Kundig , Canan Yetmen , Canan YetmenPublisher: Oscar Riera Ojeda Publishers Limited Imprint: Oscar Riera Ojeda Publishers Limited Edition: New edition ISBN: 9781964490472ISBN 10: 1964490472 Pages: 128 Publication Date: 01 July 2025 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Hardback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In Print This item will be ordered in for you from one of our suppliers.
