Author Information

Jerrid P. Freeman currently serves at the Vice President for Student Affairs at Northeastern State University. He has previously held positions in student affairs at Fort Hays State University, University of Arkansas, North Carolina State University, Elon University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Bowling Green State University, and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Dr. Freeman received his bachelor of science in secondary mathematics, physics, and coaching from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and his master of arts in college student personnel at Bowling State University. He completed his doctorate in higher education administration from North Carolina State University. Dr. Freeman is a certified emotional intelligence evaluator and has served on the regional and national boards for NASPA. Some of his research interests and areas of publication and presenting are integrated strategic planning (ISP), spirituality, student retention, leadership, and the changing economy's affect on higher education and the underserved populations in the United States. Cari L. Keller currently serves as the Dean of the Graduate College and Executive Director of Planning and Assessment at Northeastern State University. Prior to these appointments, she served as the Assistant Dean for the College of Liberal Arts and the Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. She remains a tenured professor of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. Dr. Keller serves on the Peer Review Corp with the Higher Learning Commission, an is a Master Reviewer for Quality Matters. Her research interests include campus victimization and campus safety.
