Overview

As Hesta was battling the virus which was rapidly spreading throughout the country, her controlling and violent husband, Vince, disappeared. She was alone; but she feared his return far more than the deadly infection. Eventually, with the help of her only friend, Dan the postman, she recovers. But the holiday park, which the couple had been employed to manage, is now her sole responsibility. There will be no holidaymakers this season and the place is designated for the use of those in need. Together, Hesta and Dan turn Highcliff into a refuge and a home. However, the mystery of Vince's disappearance is always there and in searching for the truth, horrifying revelations emerge.
