Overview

Feeling delicate after the breakdown of a long-term relationship, Frankie Williams - a self-professed petrolhead - is persuaded to attend a local car meet, despite fear of crossing paths with her ex-boyfriend. Instead, she meets handsome, funny and kind-hearted Chris Parker. Chris' home life is complicated to say the least - a full-time carer for his disabled father. After relocating from the opposite end of the country for his dad's care, his speedy Ford Focus RS and the local car enthusiast meets provide a much-needed escape. The attraction between Frankie and Chris is instant, intense and passionate. They soon discover they are the perfect match, but their circumstances are certainly less than. Standing in their way is a mutual friend with an unrequited crush, a jealous ex-boyfriend who will stop at absolutely nothing to rip them apart and a plethora of misunderstandings that leave Frankie wondering if Chris really is too good to be true after all.
