Dr. Nicki Newton has been an educator for over 35 years, working both nationally and internationally with students of all ages. She has worked on developing Math Workshop and Guided Math Institutes around the country; visit her website at www.drnickinewton.com. She is also an avid blogger (www.guidedmath.wordpress.com), tweeter (@drnickimath) and pinner (www.pinterest.com/drnicki7). Dr. Terri Ruyter has worked in schools for close to 40 years as an elementary school classroom teacher, a professor of education, and a district literacy specialist. Most recently, she served as the founding principal of a public pre-K-to-8 school in New York City. TJ Jemison is a math consultant who specializes in special education, math intervention, and math fact fluency for grades K−5.
