Author Information

Beatrice Sonders (Basia Gadzuik, 1924-2019) was a survivor of the Holocaust and the atrocities that befell her hometown of David-Horodok. She aspired for the miraculous story of her survival to be known for generations to come. She lived in West Bloomfield, Michigan, and was especially proud of her three daughters, ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Emily Lawrence, an actor and writer, is passionate about bringing stories to life. She has narrated more than 190 audiobooks, half of which were USA Today or New York Times bestsellers, and has also worked in film, television, and theater. David Salama is one of Beatrice Sonder's ten grandchildren and lives in Huntington Woods, Michigan, with his wife and their three sons. He feels beyond fortunate to have had his grandmother in his life as an adult and has always been inspired by her story of surviving the Holocaust. Through interviews and genealogical research, he has helped to write Beatrice's account into a memoir for future generations. Noah Michael Levine is an Audie Award-winning narrator, audiobook producer, actor, and author living in the beautiful Hudson River Village of Nyack, New York. He has narrated over 230 titles and looks forward to recording many more. He truly loves his work. Noah's catalog spans the full breadth of genres, from history, philosophy, science, and literary critique to fantasy, drama, comedy, young adult, thriller, and romance/erotica. Noah is an avid home chef, lover of animals, and is working on his first novel.
