She has written a number of travel guides and poetry collections. Elusive Moose (9781905236749) was her first project for Barefoot Books. Clare Beaton was born in southeast England and spent her childhood in London. She graduated from Hornsey College of Art with first class honors and then spent eight years working at the BBC Television Centre illustrating for various children’s programs.
