Overview

The danger is in the details...Dryth and Sindri have survived the ruthless killer after their lives. Now, they're moving on to more interesting things, like new magic, undiscovered ruins, and delicious foods. Things seem to be looking up for them, but all terms are subject to change. When they take on a job helping the local nobility with their new friend Ash, what started as a simple favor becomes much more dangerous. The contract terms are simple enough. Help find a stolen card. Unfortunately, this journey is fraught with political implications, and some of the players involved don't want anyone delving into their secrets. Tensions are brewing in the city of Westhold, and the people setting the terms are willing to leave bodies strewn through the streets to get their way. With even more people after their heads, Dryth and Sindri are going to have to read between the lines and figure out where the danger is coming from if they want to stay alive and keep the city from burning down around them.
