OverviewMany World War Two wargamers use 1-100 scale figures and vehicles such as FLAMES OF WAR. What I've done here is to present a new set of rules for that scale, but fighting my battles on a HEX BASED table top. There are several advantages to this method: for example it reduces most of the need to measure range and movement (you simply count off the number of hexes). Here are tables for all types of weapons and troop types. I admit that it can be a lot of work converting your scenery to hexes, but it can result in a more enjoyable and fast-moving game. It's well worth a look. Here are the basic rules in a 32 page book, but there is also these same rules with an additional 'discussion' section with more of the background to the rules. I seem to have collected over the years a fine collection of various sets of rules. Here's another to add to your collection.
