Overview

From the beginning of time, from Mother Eve choosing to leave the Garden, some of our greatest warriors for truth have been women. The reason we have not heard many of these stories is because history, for much of mankind's existence, was recited and recorded by men. That was not a conspiracy. It was just the way we evolved as men and women. Women stayed home, nurtured, fed, and taught the young children and then grandchildren helping bind the generations together. The men confronted an always dangerous world, fighting enemies and bringing home the meat in summer and fall necessary to survive a killing winter. Men killed to survive, women gave birth, building and nurturing the family. The roles men and women played were designed by biology, culture, religion, and millennia of refining what worked best. For most of history, all this made sense. Today, however, is a new day. And a New World. You live at a time and place where you are freer as women than ever in history to make your own history. My children and grandchildren, please don't squander that freedom. It's a precious, God-given gift: Your priceless Agency. It's inalienable, meaning that no one has the right to take it from you. It is yours by birth, given to you by a loving Father in Heaven and for a divine purpose. More so, it's yours so you'd have the freedom to stand and fight the Adversary on your own terms. And by standing with those who also embrace the truth and are passionate to teach it to others, I know you will win this fight! Within these pages are 20 heroic women who stood for truth and determined, come hell or high water, to do what was right. And so doing, stood with God and helped change the course of history. As the great historian said: ""We embrace and revere history not for the sake of the dead, but for the salvation of the living."" These memorable stories are, in truth, a vast early warning system. Their messages and principles are priceless and eternal. We forget them, or worse, cancel them at our peril. Thank you, Daughters of Courage, for standing and fighting when it would have been far easier and safer to shrink and retreat. Because of you, the world is a better place and we a better people.
