Author Information

John J. Janc is professor emeritus of French at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he taught French language and literature for thirty-one years. He received a doctorat de troisieme cycle from the Universite de Paris III (la Sorbonne nouvelle) in 1977 and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981. He has authored editions critiques of the following plays by Victor Hugo: Les deux Trouvailles de Gallus, Torquemada, Hernani and Marion de Lorme.
