Alicia Racela is a health educator, certified yoga instructor and entrepreneur from Hawaii. She has brought together her love of the ocean and understanding of yoga science to inspire others through her storytelling. Alicia created a youth yoga program in South Los Angeles to offer access to the healing opportunities provided through yoga and meditation. Her University of Michigan degree in Kinesiology is the basis of her knowledge regarding the benefits of movement and its positive impact on brain development, behavioral patterns and childhood obesity. As a first time author, she is introducing the living philosophies of yoga beyond movement through playful and educational stories. Alicia currently lives in Southern California with the love of her life and two children. Nia Ling is a California based creative specializing in illustration and creative direction. She has professionally been in the artistic field since she was 15 years old and has gradually progressed into the roles of being a director, filmmaker, scriptwriter, poet, and Polynesian stage dancer.Nia believes that anyone can be limitless and produce the most authentic and vibrant pieces when they are in tune with their inner child. This is something she learned at a young age and applies to her work everyday. Mr. Layne is Co-founder and Co-CEO of TwinFlame Ventures, LLC where he started the Nature, Technology and Tomorrow initiative, dedicated to providing educational opportunities and experiences in technology for underrepresented populations worldwide.
