Heritage in Practice is our fourth bi-annual collection of Local Approach articles for the years 2023-2025. Each article is thoughtfully arranged into sections, making it easy for you to read and engage with the heritage sector, along with a toolkit and contributions from the Andreas Pittas Art Characterization Laboratory regarding digital documentation, and from VENIS STUDIOS on conservation and restoration, spearheaded by Venizelos G. Gavrilakis Subject areas organise our articles to help put the information from the platform in context. The articles emphasise participatory methods for the safeguarding of cultural heritage. In keeping with the themes presented in previous titles, Heritage DIY, 2022-2023, SupHeritage, 2021-22, and How to Heritage, 2020-21, this presentation focuses on contextualising a variety of concepts and projects. About Local Approach A platform for advice on heritage with the goal of assisting local communities in safeguarding and enhancing their heritage assets by delivering information in a clear and accessible manner.
