OverviewMany women have been there: juggling motherhood, a job, volunteer work, and chauffeuring kids to school and sports practices (a job in itself); it's enough to send anyone running for the hills. In Here's What I Need You to Know, wife and mother Shari Franklin shares her own experiences with candor, sincerity, and wit. From last-minute school projects to college applications to marriage frustrations, from insecurity to hilarity to acceptance, this poignant collection of essays presents situations to which many can relate, and provides advice, humor, and comfort for those moments that leave us questioning whether we're doing it right. Her two oldest children, Taylor and Logan, are each married and live in different cities. There is never a dull moment, though, with three teenagers (Isaac, and twins Rileigh and Raegan) still living under one roof. Shari has been a middle school math and science teacher, a youth pastor's wife, and a security and medical dispatcher for a theme park. When she is not chauffeuring teenagers around or attending their sports events, she divides her time between substituting at their high school, working for a semi-annual children's consignment sale, and shopping and delivering for a home delivery service. She has auditioned for The Amazing Race seven times, and it is the only thing left on her bucket list. If you can't find her at home, she is more than likely at the beach, soaking up the sun and reading. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
