Since herbarium specimens are the primary form of evidence for vascular plant species occurrence in national park units, accurate specimen information must be maintained in the service-wide database for documenting species in national parks, NPSpecies. In this project, we accessioned, cataloged, veri-fied, and databased all herbarium specimens taken from four national parks: Aztec Ruins National Monument, El Malpais National Monument, El Morro National Monu-ment, and Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.
