Are diseased people allowed to have fun in a doctor's office? A clinic door swings wide open revealing fervent yet fragile exchange between a one-breasted Gentile and her Jewish medicine man. An unusual prescription for Dancing at Daybreak sparks lively conversation which is not easy to transfer onto paper, but author Connie Titus tries. God knows she tries. Intimate letters record ten years of private, playful encounters. Doctor and Patient yoke together to accomplish serious work, yet zany humor pops up causing wild and merry disarray in a professional setting.
