Her teaching and research interests are in literacy and second language development and teacher preparation for working with diverse students. She currently serves as the Associate Dean in the College of Education at CSU Fullerton. Dr. Dunlap has worked as a bilingual teacher in Illinois and Arizona and has taught English learners in Brazil, Mexico, and the West Indies.
